"ISO/IEC 27002: Information technology - Security techniques - Code of practice for information security controls", which describes the best practices for setting up an information security management system with ISO/IEC 27001 within an organization, was revised in February 2022.

The revision of the ISO 27002 standard has consequently led to the update of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. The standard now considers the new contexts facing organizations today (GDPR, development of cloud services, widespread use of homeworking in the wake of the COVID crisis, growing number of cyberattacks, etc.).
